At Golden Tigers Sports Academy, we are committed to the health and safety of our athletes. We have a comprehensive set of policies in place to ensure that all of our students are safe and well-cared for.

We believe that all children have the right to feel safe and respected, and we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for all of our athletes.

In addition to our health and safety policies, we also have a comprehensive child safeguard policy in place. This policy ensures that all of our staff are trained in child protection and that we have procedures in place to protect children from abuse.

Health & Safety Policy

In order to ensure the well being and safety of our players and coaches, Golden Tigers Sports Academy has implemented a comprehensive health and safety policy. The following are some details and bullet points outlining our commitment to maintaining a secure and healthy environment:

1. Risk Assessment: The Academy ensures conducting regular risk assessments of the training facilities, equipment and playing areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

2. Emergency Procedures: Our coaches and staff are trained on emergency protocols to ensure a swift and efficient response in critical situations. We also develop and communicate emergency procedures for various scenarios including injuries, accidents and evacuation.

3. First Aid & Medical Support: We maintain a well equipped first aid kit in all training locations, ensuring it is readily accessible to coaches and staff.

All coaches and staff are required to possess a First Aid Certification and provide training on administering basic first aid when needed.

Established relationships with medical professionals and nearby medical facilities for prompt medical support if needed.

4. Equipment Safety: We regularly inspect and maintain sports equipment to ensure it is safe, functional and appropriate for the age and skill level of the players.

We provide guidance and instructions on the proper use and care of equipment to prevent injuries.

5. Hygiene & Sanitation: We promote and enforce good hygiene practices, including hand-washing, sanitizing equipment and maintaining clean training facilities.

Child Safeguard Policy

At Golden Tigers Sports Academy we prioritize the safety and well-being of our players. Our safeguarding policy ensures a secure and protective environment for all individuals involved.

Staff Screening: We conduct background checks on staff working at the academy and provide safeguarding guidelines to coaches who will be working directly with children.

Code of Conduct: We have established a code of conduct that outlines expected behaviour of coaches, players and staff.

Reporting & Responding: We are implementing a robust reporting system for any concern, allegations, bullying, abuse and inappropriate behaviour conducted by player, coaches, staff and parents.

Communication & Education: We maintain open channels for communications with players, staff and parents to ensure that they are aware of the academy's safeguarding policies.

We ensure awareness is spread among the academy players and reinforce values like sportsmanship, game ethics, collaboration and respect.

During the application process, parents have to fill the application proving their consent or disapproval to post their child's photos on social media.
